Most wigs are built on a closed cap. A dome of fabric sits flat against your scalp and stays there all day, and by hour nine you know about it.
Every Kallov Hair is built on a ventilated cap or full lace instead. Open construction across the top of your head, designed to let more air reach your scalp than a closed cap does. How that feels is personal, and a warm room and a long day change the answer, so we would rather show you the construction than promise you a sensation.

How it works
Four steps, no showroom
There is no store to walk into. There is a call, a tape measure, and a piece that fits when it arrives.

You measure
Six measurements, a soft tape, about ten minutes. The size guide walks you through every one of them, and we will do it with you on the call if you would rather not do it alone.

You choose a route
Ready-to-wear is made in your cap size and reaches you in about 21 days. Bespoke is built to your measurements and takes longer. We will tell you honestly which one your answer is, even when it is the cheaper one.

We build it
Cap machine sewn, lace hand tied, knot by knot. Nothing leaves the table until it holds its shape when you turn it over.

CrownCare
The crown beneath the crown.
CrownCare is where we put everything we know about comfort. Hair loss, thinning, shedding, tender scalps, and anyone who simply wants the airiest thing we make.
You do not need a diagnosis to shop it, and you never have to name one. We are not clinicians and we will not pretend to be. What we can do is build you a wig that fits your head and sits gently.

Every Kallov Hair passes through named hands.
Mary sewed the pioneer pieces: wefts onto the ventilated cap, then the closure or frontal at the hairline. She has been at it long enough to feel a bad seam before she can see it, and she will pull one out over a millimeter nobody else would catch. That is the standard everything since has been measured against.
Our stylists and colorists finish the hair before it ships, and they are named on The Hands That Style. We put names on this site because a piece made and finished by people you can name is a different object than one that turned up in a bag.
