The difference
A standard cap is a closed system.
Layers of stretch material, a stocking cap underneath, adhesive at the perimeter. Your scalp spends nine hours sealed in.
Ours has less cap, not better fabric.
Open gaps through the body of it, placed where the head actually runs hot rather than spaced evenly for the look of it.

So what holds it on?
Adjustable elastic bands inside the cap, tightened to your own head. No glue. No tape. Nothing adhesive against your skin, and nothing you have to undo at the end of the day.
